(photo) graphic designer

My profession is an independent graphic designer with a passion for photography. Hence the self-conceived title (photo) graphic designer. I have completed a study at the Design Academy, specializing in Product Presentation. Photography was an important part of that education. That is also where my affinity for photography came into being. I found it fascinating to see how the recordings you made with your camera – then still on film – slowly developed (literally) in the dark room. I, like almost everyone, left that analogous era behind for a long time, but still the basic values that I learned at the time: creativity, patience, attention to detail, craftsmanship still apply.
I am actually all day – indirectly and direct – working with photography. Indirectly, because I judge photos of other photographers and apply them in my designs. Immediately because I always see the world through the eyes of a photographer. I always have my camera with me, wherever I go, because I’m afraid to miss that one perfect shot. When I have an idea for a photo, I sometimes spend hours or days trying things out and am only satisfied if it meets my requirements.
